This series is an exploration of the biblical and historic spiritual practices that mark the life of a maturing follower of Jesus. Many of us assume that following Jesus is simply a matter of adhering to his ethical teachings, but ignore the ingrained habits of spiritual practice that sustained Jesus and his earliest followers. And these practices are not a one-size-fits-all kind of thing, but require a sense of balance: we are called to learn these practices as well as which seasons of life necessitate them. Our hope is that we will become more like Jesus as we engage in the spiritual practices of Jesus himself.
